The Flexible Working (Amendment) Regulations 2023, which comes into force on 6 April 2024, will remove the 26-week minimum service requirement for making a flexible working request.
This will become a day-one right.Action required:The firm’s flexible working policy to be updated to remove the element requiring 26 weeks' continuous service before making a flexible working request.
Further changes concerning flexible working arrangements will come into force later in year [expected in July but unconfirmed as yet.]
